Juliana Geran Pilon

Juliana Geran Pilon is Director of the Center for Culture and Security at the Institute of World Politics. She has also taugh at the Air Force University's Culture and Language Center, the National Defense University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, Emory University, and elsewhere.  Elected member of the Council on Foreign Relations, she is the author of several books, including the forthcoming Soulmates: Resurrecting Eve, and over two hundred articles ranging from international affairs to philosophy. As Vice President for Programs at the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), she has designed, conducted, and managed projects related to a wide variety of democratization projects.
